I love the way Castle is being the strong and supportive boyfriend here.  He smiles to reassures Beckett.  As soon as Beckett buries her face in his chest, his smile fades and is replaced by a worried look.

The last person who could do that was her mother. She finally has someone whose physical presence will cheer her up and give her the strength she needs to get through anything.
